THE LOOKBACK
5 factoids you mightâve missed

Look, I know itâs busy out there. Here are five college football things you might find interesting from the past week:
1) Ahead of last yearâs game against Oregon, Colorado claimed, without much evidence, that the Ducks had illegally accessed its private football data. Initial investigations into the matter showed that no security was actually compromised and, ultimately, Colorado backed off. HmmmâŚ
2) Oklahomaâs Danny Stutsman is donating $50k of his own NIL earnings to each returning walk-on this season. You donât need my commentary for this⌠hereâs the video:
Our guy @FbStutsman continues to be a leader on and off the field and has generously donated a large portion of his NIL earnings back to the walk-ons who have been loyal to our program and Team 130 đ

3) Charlotte will be without close to 50-percent of its starters against James Madison. Coach Biff Poggi gave himself âan F-minusâ for getting âoverzealousâ in fall camp and pushing his team a little too hard. They wonât be fully healthy, in his estimation, until Week 4. Yikes.
4) Miami (Ohio)âs Chuck Martin is very much not a fan of modern technology in the game of football. My favorite quote: âAll the technology, itâs smart by the technology people that sell it. But I hate all of it, so. I used to like when you had to coach ⌠Used to have to make in-game adjustments, now the iPad will make âem for you. Pretty soon there will be robots⌠Weâll have fake officials, fake players, fake coaches. Itâll be like playing NCAA 25.â You really owe it to yourself to watch this video:

5) Netflix dropped Untold: Sign Stealer, a documentary exploring the role of Connor Stalions within the Michigan football program. Reviews were mixed among college football talkers, ranging from âit was worth watchingâ to âI learned nothing new.â Shrug. Among the notable bullets: Stalions received a game ball from Jim Harbaugh for âdeciphering signalsâ after a win over Iowa in 2022 and played coy about being disguised and on the sidelines of a Central Michigan game.
Perhaps the only thing everyone watching âSign Stealerâ can agree on?
This was pretty funny.
âI donât even think this guy looks like me.â
